My Public Persona

Nobody knows my superhero identity, except my husband and daughter, Eva. She also has super powers because, you see, she was conceived when I already had my powers. :D

I am Amelia Carranza. I'm an art major at CSUS. I am married and have a one year old daughter. I like chocolate and dancing. I am a reserved person. I have been like this always. I like spending time with my family, especially my Eva. I find myself busy with school and feel guilty for not spending enough time with her. I enjoy working on my painting. It's almost therapeutinc for me. I enjoy all kinds of music except death metal. I like movies, especially horror films. I'm awkward.

  1. Amelia, we sound very similar. I am reserved, love to dance (used to do this professionally)and who doesn't love chocolate!

I hate being away from my kids and will go home to Modesto in between classes, if I have the time, just so I can see them! :)

  2. I wish I could say I was reserved too so that I could be included in the Reserved Club with you and Supermom, but I am not. But I AM very very Awkward. We can be a part of the Awkward club together!

  3. I too love Horror movies. I AM into death metal though =). I understand your guilt you feel for being away from your daughter while you're at school, but higher education will help your family in the ,long run and I'm sure when she's older she will be very proud of you.

  4. I admire that your daughter was given powers because she was concieved when you had them, and even though you say you feel guilty for not spending enough time with her. The time you guys do spend together is special.

  5. aw, but how could you not LOVE death metal? It's so passionate and full of raw emotion...and oftens sounds like broken glass being dragged down a metal shute. Good stuff, oh yeah.

  6. I admire youre self-honesty! I love my kids too, and I know that I don't spend as much time with them as I would like. It's that darn school...always taking up my time that would be better spent with my kids...
