How Monkey Woman came to be...

About five years ago I took a vacation to the Amazonian jungle of Brazil. I was drawing some plants when the jerks in my tour group left me. I spent days searching for any sign of human life...and some food. Suddenly I came across an abandoned nuclear powerplant! ...and I saw some bananas near it.

I was starving...needless to say I couldn't resist. They tasted kinda funny, too. That banana changed my life. Ever since then, I have developed insanely cool super powers! I can make plants grow super fast with my laser vision. I can defeat evil foes with poisonous banana seeds that shoot from my index fingers. Also, I can make banana peels appear spontaniously, stopping enemies in their tracks!

Of course, I only use my powers to help the normal folk.

;D

  1. thats funny. an abandoned nuclear power plant in brazil, but who knows maybe the ancient amazon people new of the power of the atom too. the banana seeds shooting from your fingertips seems kinda creepy lol, like you have little holes in the tips of your fingers.hehe. the banana appearing spontaneously is hilarious and cartoonish--goodwork.

  2. I know of the perfect way of helping normal people with that banana peel power of yours. Randomly go to conferences of politicians and make them trip! Politics is such a somber affair that it can get a little depressing and dreary. You can change that around by making people laugh at themselves a bit more!

  4. @ Barosso: Ancient amazon people aware of nuclear energy? no, no, no. That's just silly. It was the aliens that built the nuclear powerplant, duh.

  5. You see, that's why I'll never go to an Amazonian forest...nothing good ever happens in those things (you could've been killed by gigantic poisonous spiders-or worse, you could've been turned into some sort of spider...man). Great origin story. I agree with freckles, the banana seeds (I've never seen or noticed a banana seed) shooting from your fingers is disturbing.
